West, Lane & Schlager is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year as a leading Washington, D.C. region commercial real estate firm. 


I started as a social media summer intern by way of the U.S Chamber of Commerce NextGen program and now a consultant providing digital solutions. The challenge my client was facing,  like many businesses with years of experience, was a lack of knowledge around emerging social media platforms and how it can be used as a business tool. The client had no consistent social media strategy for posting content and establishing a digital presence.


We spent a lot of time researching the commercial real estate industry and working with the WLS brokers and team members. Understanding both the commercial real estate industry and the client helps establish an authentic brand on social media. Below is a list of a few content strategies we have implemented to increase brand awareness.
